  Customizing the animated MTMG billboard.....

This project requires knowledge of how to use the common
MTM editing tools and thus it is not recommended for the
inexperienced editor. With that said... if you aren't already
experienced then you certainly will be by the time you
successfully learn to customize this model ; )
It is assumed you will know what to do with the files in this
package, be sure and examine the following images:

  'mtmgtemplate.gif'
...contains instructions and templates for placing text.

  'signtemplate.tga'
...a 24 bit image provided for creating your own textures.

It is assumed you will know how to combine the information
contained in both images into your finished textures.
The 'lines' template is meant to be transformed and used
as a temporary transparent overlay/layer for your textures,
designed to help align the positions of your new text and
graphics to match the actual face mappings.

Cutomizing this animated model will require the use of:

-- MTM Bin Texture Replacer by MDMRE.
-- BIN Animator by Oliver Pieper.
-- A graphics program to create the textures and palettes.

  To the point instructions:

You MUST create new RAW files with new and unique
filenames!! You must then rename the six sequential BIN
models (1 thru 6) to new and unique file names. Then you can
use the BIN texture replacer to replace the old texture
names with your new ones. You can then use the BIN animator
to create a new animation control BIN that ties the frames
together. If you can't do this then please don't modify
anything, if you don't change the filenames you may corrupt
the display of this model that is already in distribution.

BIN Animator note: My billboard has six frames, displayed
  at one frame per half-second ( .5).

Graphics: Paint Shop Pro (shareware) can create 256 color
RAW texture files and the color palettes can be saved as
PAL. PAL can then be converted to ACT using a utilty such
  as Para Pallete Converter.
