Scrapyard.txp - the traxx patterns file for scrapyard run
MtmgWinter99Contest.txt - this file

This contest is considerably different from other track making contests. You must use this track as your starting point and build from there.

Background.

This is an unfinished track by ZooN. Please visit his site at http://come.to/zoon

You will find his details about the track here http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/zoonbyte/unfinished.html
or from his main menu.

Getting started.

You will have to extract the models and art from the MontGri2.pod. You will also have to extract the models and art from Scrapyard Run (junk.pod). Once you have done this, you can now use the MtmgWinter99Contest.txx file to begin editing. The Scrapyard.txp is included for your convience; you are not obligated to use it.

Working with the track.

This track contains the most basic things. The terrain is already set, the terrain textures are in place, and there is a texture course laid out. That is about it. Your job is to use these things to create an new, interesting, drivable, good and fully functioning track. If you've ever wished you could build tracks like ZooN, now is your chance.

Finishing the track.

You must add checkpoints, models, the truck courses, and probably road textures. You must give your new track a new and orginal name. Optionally, you can add ground boxes, custom textures, altitude work, and/or a different backdrop. You are limited by two things: 1) the original track, and 2) your imagination.

The only catch.

You must use this track.
