A question, will you ever make more replica trucks for MTM1, Cale? I would love to see more.

EDIT: I can't get your MTM1 Truck Expansion work in MTM1. I replace the original TRUCK.POD with your new TRUCK.POD in "system" folder using cowpod, when I open up the game and the error pops up and it says "Unable to find a cockpit file". I hate this error, can you tell me how do I fix this error?

I can only assume this is more of a problem on Cale's end as opposed to yours, cause I'm getting the same error message too, hopefully this a minor error, and a simple fix.

Now... I'm not sure if whether or not it's been changed, but I was expecting more of a Red Snake Bite over the vanilla Green one hence the Green wheels, not just for IRL accuracy and period correctness, but the fact that a lot of the truck roster in the game are all loosely based of the 1995 PENDA season more than the 96 season, with Wildfoot being the main exception. Just a mere nitpick.

I'll look at it tonight - maybe I zipped the wrong file. TRUCK.pod includes the cockpit data for the game so somehow I must have left it out.

Probably because you're missing some important files for your TRUCK.pod as following:
POWERBIG.400
POWERBIG.480
POWERBIG.200
NEEDLE.BIN

EDIT: Also both truck call sounds for Equalizer (EQD.wav and EQF.wav) are missing as well.

Then I'll re-check the pod tonight. Thanks.

Try this one - I added in the missing files and it should be correct now: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dZi-_J ... drive_link

I can't access to the file, it says "You need access". You didn't share the link properly.

Did I mention I'm on paternity leave? My brain's a bit wonky right now. Try it now: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1dZi-_J ... sp=sharing

I'm sorry about this Cale, but...

The cockpit error message is still persisting, I wish I was joking.

Hmmm...I went over the LST one more time and repodded - maybe this one will work? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Is9Qck ... sp=sharing

Maybe try restoring the old truck.pod, open the game so you know that works, then try again with the new file.

I could just cry right now... :(

Image

Done what you've suggested, trying again with the old pod, which works as expected, then replace it with the new one, launch again, and I'm once again greeted with this same godforsaken message.

Honestly, I don't really know if this is some sort of problem on my end, given TDP reported the same problem too, but your end seems to work somehow?

Try copying cockpit.pod from your MTM2 folder and then paste it in your MTM1 folder. Add "cockpit.pod" in the top of your pod.ini and save it. That should work.

Sadly, that doesn't work either, other than giving me a "unable to open model" error upon startup. I figured copying something over from a newer game over to an older game wouldn't quite work in the same way anyway.

Maybe try this and put it in the top of your pod.ini in your MTM1 folder?

How did I miss those files? I'll repod later today and try it again.

I figured out what's wrong! Like I said, Windows 11 finally broke my C-POD install, so I've been using BinEdit 2.2.8's Pod creator...which automatically Podzips out those 3 files, and you can't uncheck it! Maybe I can merge the files elsewhere, it will wait until this evening.

Ooh, nice.

Yeah, blame Microsoft for the updates that breaks installation of old programs.
